Oh chill out people...of course it's a mistake...for many reasons...but I think what we are all failing to recognize is that it's so great that this band has taught us to expect the impossible. Keep life exciting. Don't always assume the worse; and living completely based on logic is never as fun as believing in surprises and unforseen possibilities. The fact that any one of us, who are quite on top of life and reasonable, could think for even a split second that this band would pull something sneaky like this, makes life a little more exciting.

C'mon people. Retail ads are printed weeks, if not MONTHS, in advanced.
The date change happened too late to fix the ad. End of story.
Seriously, why isn't that at least mentioned on the post?

Did you not read what I wrote? I said that IT COULD BE AN ERROR ON BEST BUYS PART. Maybe you should have read that before you commented. The same goes for Ricky. And calling people "retarded" is very immature. Don't get your panties in a bunch, kids. :-)
Seeing how this means potentally getting an album on the date it was intended to come out, I don't really see how it's a fail for Fall Out Boy, unless it's on the subject of keeping the retailers in shape.
And even then, that's the kind of thing that's beyond the band's control. >__>;;

It's coming out December 16th. The ads were printed before the release date changed and Best Buy never bothered to change them.
It has the CD release date as 12/16 but the CD on Vinyl says 11/4??

But if you look at the Vinyl cd's release dat it says "Release Date: 12/16/2008" so, i think it was a missprint.

I also posted this on my buzznet account. Someone from New York received a Circuit City ad and it stated the same thing. This "error" wasn't just a one store mess up. I asked Wal-Mart about the release date and they said they still had the November 4th date. I told them about the release date change and they said that they probably didn't change it. Bleh, if it means getting the album, then I don't really mind...I'm still "pre-ordering" though.
If it DOES get leaked in Best Buy, here's to hoping Fall Out Boy outsells Hinder! :D

I work there. It is simply a mistake, the ad got printed before the information about the release date being pushed back. There should be an ad correction notice posted at all the Best Buys.
